BRIGITTE

Sala Apolo, Carrer Nou de la Rambla, 113, 08004 Barcelona 8:30 pm - 11:00 pm

With their first CD “Et vous, tu m’aimes”, released in april 2011, Brigitte was widely accepted by the masses selling more than 220.000 copies and being certified double platinum album. The duo went on a marathon tour performing more than 250 shows all around France which took them from L’Européen to the Zenith of Paris & l’Olympia and has made them earn a Victoire de la Musique “Revelation Show”. A very important tour abroad took place then; the french exotic of Brigitte has seduced Italy, Spain, Lebanon, Turkey, Norway, Vietnam, Burma, Laos, Russia, Singapore, Indonesia, Israel, Canada …

With their songs “Battez-vous”, “La Vengeance d’une Louve”; “Je veux un enfant”, “Oh la la” or else the cover of the famous “Ma Benz” of NTM; Brigitte has written their own musical road-movie in the spirit of “Thelma & Louise” between Jacques Demy and Quentin Tarantino and has become one of the female icons of the new French scene.

In the spring of 2014, they decided to sneak preview the songs from their upcoming album before recording it and went on a club tour named “l’Elaboratoire Tour”. A rendezvous shared and succeeded, Brigitte sold out all their dates. For this new adventure, under the sign of twins, Brigitte made their come back with a new album called “A bouche que veux-tu” released the 17th of November.

Aerial harmonies, glamor and sensuality are the watchwords of this musical adventure. The girls wanted to make us dance through more rhythmic and colorful compositions that evoke Minnie Ripperton, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Roy Ayers, Mulatu Astatke.

The first eponymous single of Brigitte creates an event with a clip of more than 6 minutes which reveals a chic disco universe on a glitter background.
